This recipe comes from Nigella Lawson's "Forever Summer" cookery book.

Our favourite domestic goddess has embraced the "Kiwifruit", impress your guests with this delicious cocktail! The "Kiwitini"!

• 25ml chilled vodka
• 50ml chilled dry martini
• 1 peeled kiwi

Put the above ingredients in a blender (with a handful of crushed ice), blitz to a cool, velvety puree. Pour into a martini glass and enjoy! (Makes 1)

Well it looks like Summer may finally have arrived, with lovely warm sunshine and settled weather over most of NZ!

Floozy's Favourite from London Fashion Week.

I can't believe it's over a week since I arrived back in the "Land of the Long White Cloud", following my whistle stop European tour!
My trip culminated in a visit to London Fashion Week, hosted at the Natural History Museum on Cromwell Road.
My favourite label showing this season just had to be "Luella".

Designer Luella Bartley has recently opened her first stand alone store in Brook Street, W1. Just a stone's throw away from Mulberry in Bond Street, where Luella's bag's first became a must have accessory, as seen adorning the shoulder of many a super model!

Famous not just for accessories, Luella's clothes take a quirky look at traditional English style.

It's no wonder this very talented lady won Elle & Glamour Magazines Designer of the year in 2006!

I long for a scrummy Suzi Tote, still Christmas is coming! Here's hoping that Santa's reading this!!!!!

As Floozy's been busy in Europe, we've been unable to get to Air New Zealand Fashion Week in Auckland. Sisters, Luisa & Carla, are the creative inspiration behind this award winning and much sought after collection.

Mrs, Miss or Ms.

I've just received an email from an upset Customer, who felt Floozy has regressed to the 1950s by not offering the title "Ms" in our web based order form over at the online store.
Now I've had this omission pointed out to me, I can only apologise to anybody else out there who has been offended by our choice of titles at check out.
Rest assured I feel extremely chastised, I will definitely be speaking to the men (and women!) in white coats tomorrow to get this rectified as soon as possible!

The W List.

Krishna De of The Podcast Sisters recently published an article referring to, The W List: aka women who blog.

When we moved to New Zealand three years ago, (for a lifestyle change!), my partner thought he would cure me of my addiction to retail therapy, unfortunately for him that plan backfired!

I'd always been a serious shopaholic. In a previous life I was Cabin Crew, (for The World's Favourite Airline), giving me an opportunity to shop on a global scale, from the souk's in Istanbul to "Bloomingdales" in New York, I was always on the quest for the perfect fashion accessory or must have item!! Suitcases left the UK rattling with emptiness and returned bulging with booty! Yes, everything you've read in "Air Babylon" is true we partied 'til dawn, danced the night away with our gay best friends, but, (for me anyway), nothing ever interfered with the very serious business of shopping!

Having relocated to "The Land of the Long White Cloud", I often found I got admiring comments on some of my finer International purchases, leading me to believe that New Zealand was ready to embrace Floozy, and all she stood for, "Empowerment of the Modern Woman through Fantastic Fashion Accessories"!
